Through her experience in volunteering and in growing up in a family of refugees, Stephanie is dedicated to serving communities creatively and collaboratively. She enjoys gathering ideas and making it real with others to create a sense of place. She believes every person deserves a safe place to be and to belong and it takes a collective effort to do so by listening and engaging through thoughtful design.
Hence, fostering sustainable, healthy, affordable and equitable communities is important and, as an AmeriCorps alumni and first generation graduate, she hopes to continue the experience of and to learn more about how to do so by adding a positive influence and value to people and to the environment by being a part of the Third Place Design Co-operative, where voices are heard.
